The eNIFOG app serves as an electronic version of the National Interoperability Field Operations Guide (NIFOG), a crucial technical tool for emergency communications planning and radio technicians overseeing the radios utilized in disaster response scenarios. This guide contains essential information such as regulations for the use of nationwide and other interoperability channels, frequency tables, standard channel names, and other pertinent reference materials.

Accessible through the eNIFOG app, users can conveniently navigate through the NIFOG content via an index, which provides direct links to specific sections, tables, figures, and images for efficient reference. The app also features navigation shortcuts enabling users to swiftly access regional quick references and create personalized bookmarks, known as Favorites, tailored to their specific operational requirements. Furthermore, eNIFOG can be downloaded for offline use in the field, eliminating the necessity for an active cellular or data connection.

eNIFOG has received certification and is officially listed on FirstNet®, recognizing its reliability and utility within emergency communication operations.
